WHY DOES STAR CLIPPER ASK FOR MY CONTACT INFORMATION
Star Clipper can offer you a wide range of personalized services and benefits built around your own preferences. All the privileges, credits, specials, and discounts that we offer, such as the Book Club feature or Student Discounts (see DISCOUNTS & PROGRAMS below), are available to anyone who creates an account with us. It’s simple, fast, free, and totally confidential. It enables us to provide you with a higher quality of service and broader, more flexible range of selection.

WHAT ARE THE AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS AND PROGRAMS?
Full-time college students with valid I.D. are eligible for 10% off all their purchases (excluding snacks & prediscounted items). Any Subscription Service Customers who request ten or more ongoing monthly comics are eligible for 10% off all their comic book purchases. Anyone who creates an account with us is automatically eligible for every Program and benefit we offer– you never need to ask to be signed up, and don’t have to carry a card. Simply identify yourself by name at the register and every purchase you make will earn you credit if it falls into an appropriate category. Book Club: Buy ten graphic novels within one year, and Star Clipper gives you the average price as a credit which you may apply towards any future graphic novel purchase. All Star Clipper credits, including Program Credits and Gift Cards, are good for one year from date of issue.

HOW DO I SPECIAL ORDER AN ITEM
Anyone can special order items from us on a case-by-case basis. Simply provide us with standard contact information: name, address, phone numbers, birthday (to receive specials), e-mail address (if you choose to get on our mailing list), and whether or not you’re a college student (to become eligible for our student discount). Your account is established! Next, provide us with the list of what you want. You may order as much or as little as you choose. We will contact you by phone when your order arrives. First, because Star Clipper cannot cancel orders after we have placed them, we must ask our customers to purchase any items they order through us. Special orders must be picked up within 30 days of receipt, and Subscription orders once every 30 days. We require a valid credit card number to place Special Orders over $50 (aggregate value). If customers are delinquent in purchasing their orders, Star Clipper reserves the right to charge those items to their credit card after 2 attempts at contact.

HOW DOES THE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE WORK?
Simply provide us with standard contact information: name, address, phone numbers, date of birth, e-mail address (if you choose to get on our mailing list), and whether or not you’re a college student (to become eligible for our student discount). Your account is established! Next, provide us with the list of what you want. You may order as much or as little as you choose– there is no minimum or maximum. Signing up for more books may earn you a discount. Star Clipper has the ability to be very specific when entering your reservation requests, so you have the liberty of being very precise yourself. For example, you may ask for any combination of quantities for any titles for any issue/volume range, pause your reservations while you’re gone for the summer, then resume them when you’re back in town. You are free to edit your “Hold” list at any time. You may make reservations for any product line we carry, including comics, graphic novels, t-shirts, DVD’s, anything. For new solicitations in Diamond Previews, there will always be an order cutoff date at the 15th of the month, although we always do our best to fulfill late orders. Please bear in mind the cutoff date is Diamond’s. There are only a few stipulations. First, because Star Clipper cannot cancel orders after we have placed them, we must ask our customers to purchase any items they order through us.
